Citrotec^® delivered a new Double Effect Economical Vacuum Hydrous Ethanol Distillery column in Orindiúva (SP). The equipment represents a new standard of energy and operational efficiency in ethanol production, offering superior performance combined with a significant reduction in steam consumption.

Developed to provide extremely high-performance distillation, the new Citrotec^® technology consumes only 1.3 kg of steam per liter of ethanol for standard cane wines.

The double-effect system allows for the production of hydrous ethanol with a high degree of purity, while optimizing resources and reducing operating costs. “This distillery is the result of years of research, field experience, and active listening to our customers. It combines the most advanced automation with a national, modular, and quick-installation design,” states Citrotec^® Industrial Director, Paulo Sampaio.

Manufactured with 100% national technology, the distillery stands out for its simple and fully automated operation, which ensures greater agility in implementation and continuous efficiency in the production process.

The modular design facilitates transportation and assembly, adapting flexibly to different plant profiles and capacities.
