Meet Citron, Citrotec®’s New Mascot

The mascot represents the company’s values and reinforces a culture of safety, innovation, and care for people.

Citrotec® has a new team member: Citron, the mascot created to represent, in a light and approachable way, everything that drives the company forward.

Born from engineering, innovation, and the strength present in every project, Citron embodies essential Citrotec® values such as responsibility, safety, and pride in being part of this story.

More than just a character, he symbolizes the energy and commitment of the people who build the company every day.

“Citron comes to strengthen our culture even further, representing in a simple and visual way the values that are already part of our daily routine,” says Citrotec® Industrial Director, Paulo Sampaio.

The mascot’s name was chosen by the employees themselves through an internal vote. This initiative reinforces the importance of everyone’s participation in building the company’s culture, valuing ideas and encouraging the engagement of those who make Citrotec® happen.

The Meaning Behind Citron

Citron was designed to represent, in every detail, the essence of Citrotec®.

His aluminum body makes a direct reference to the industry, highlighting the strength, durability, and technology present in the company’s projects. His PPE helmet reinforces one of Citrotec®’s most important pillars: workplace safety always comes first.

The orange heart symbolizes care for people and the company’s culture, which values respect, development, and everyone’s well-being. The orange color itself conveys energy, action, and connection — characteristics that are part of Citrotec®’s daily routine.

The mascot will be featured in internal campaigns, such as Internal Workplace Accident Prevention Week and health and safety initiatives, as well as in internal communication materials, social media, events, and institutional content.

“Citron is here to become part of our daily lives, bringing communication even closer and reinforcing important messages in a light and accessible way,” adds Sampaio.
